What to do? What to do?

So many times I have wondered, “what in the world am I going to do with my child, today?”. Sometimes I would just sit and sit, trying to come up with a few activities. Well, I’ve put together a list of things that you can do with your little. These are some of our favorite things to do so they all may or may not work for you and your little one. They are in no particular order. Ready? Here you go!!

1. Go to the zoo!!!
Ever since we got our membership at the zoo…we’ve been going nearly nonstop. Of course the membership was $100 for us (1 adult 1 guest and our child) but that’s for the entire year. It has been well worth the trip. Within the first week of getting it, I took my son there everyday and we went as a family at least twice a month.

2. Go to a bounce house!
Jayden has only been to one bounce house (Monkey Joes) and he didn’t like it (which was shocking). But I plan to go back so he can see that it isn’t anything to be afraid of. Your child(ren) may like it though.

3. Go on a date.
That’s correct. Have a date with your child. Don’t just go to this place or that. Classify it as such and your child will feel special. I try to have a mommy/son date at least once a month, but I will increase that to twice. On these dates, we just go out to eat. But soon I will start taking him to a movie theater (he’s been to one and did extremely well). So excited that I can’t wait to go to another movie with him.

4. Chase around the house!!!
My son LOVES it when I chase him around the house. He is all boy and I have to treat him as such! We wrestle, tackle, and tickle each other. We rough ho
use a lot but he just laughs and laughs. It’s super cute (for now).

5. Go to the park!!
This is another activity my son loves. He likes the slide and swing…but his favorite thing to do is walk back and forth across the little bridge area in the jungle gym. It’s pretty hilarious.

6. Jam with Jamie!!!
This is one that I haven’t tried out yet. But I was recently contacted by this company and they have informed me that they are wanting to expand their client base to the Nashville area. They will provide music entertainment for birthday parties and playgroups ages 0-5 years and we also offer music lessons (guitar, voice, piano) for all ages. They are coming to Nashville and will like to offer a 25% off of your next birthday party, playgroup, or lesson. Just use the code “Jam Save” to get this great deal. You can get more information on this company on their website. And the best part about this company is……THEY COME TO YOU! That’s right! You get to save gas and time.

7. Practice writing letters
Jayden takes great interests in pens, pencils, and crayons. So I knew that he would enjoy this activity. I just sit him at this table, give him a sheet of paper (construction or regular) and let him go to town. It’s fun to see his serious face before even more serious!

8. Build towers

Jayden LOVES to play blocks and build things. Every time he sees the blocks he just HAS to play with them. He will build for a while then take all the blocks out and say, “clean up”. And that is what he does, “clean up”. It’s hilarious!

There are plenty other things that you can do with your little one! What is your favorite thing to do with your little one? Tell me in a comment below!!
