If you’ve read, The truth about Mommyhood, you wouldn’t think I enjoyed being a stay at home mom or a mom. But let me clarify! It is an amazing feeling to be able to stay at home with my son. I love being a stay at home mom. I get to laugh and play with my child all day. Of course it can get draining, nerve wrecking, and frustrating. It’s a little bit tougher because adult interaction is low, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. My son keeps me on my toes for sure. It’s exercise without the gym. Ha!
Ok, so I’m not feeling all too well, so my body decides to wake up at 3:30am. Really? Ugh. I just got up, took care of some business, and went to check on my son. I know his room can get pretty cold, and the little monster doesn’t like to stay under his covers (or in the bed for that matter), so I wanted to be sure he was tucked in. So I snuck in, Slowly pushing open the door (his favorite sleepin spot), I was relieved that he was still in his bed at least. I crept closer to his bed and saw his little toosh tooted in the air. Such a cute baby sleeping position. Of course I had to admire my sleeping baby! But then I gently covered him and the toosh went down! LOL. Slowly I left the room and closed the door, but not before looking back at him.
I love being a mom and am so blessed that I get to stay home with him. I’m praying that I am able to continue to be stay at home mom! This is why I choose to be a mompreneur! I get to stay home with my son and still “work” and make money!
