MOMents Like These!

My child is very active. Those who know him, know that he doesn’t stay still for no longer than a couple of seconds (unless something is on TV that he likes or being read to). Usually throughout the day he’s running around, playing with is blocks, eating, and getting into mischief.

Some days are more frustrating than others. He wants to be independent, but he doesn’t really realize how much he still needs me. Some things I allow him to attempt himself; other’s, not so much. Throughout the day, I find myself yelling, screaming, disciplining, and quite frankly, going crazy.

But it’s moments like the one in the picture above, that just takes all the frustration of being a mom to a very active, defiant, persistent little boy away. He melts my heart and these MOMents are what I look forward to as being a mom. My little boy, shows his love for me. This is the moment I’ve been waiting for. If you’ve read my other post “The Truth About Mommyhood“, then you know what I’m talking about (if you haven’t, click the name and read it).

MOMents like this one, reminds me that there are more good days than bad. I cannot begin to explain, how precious these MOMents are. I feel the tears swelling in my eyes as I type this. This very active little boy changed my life (and my body, HA).

Thank you for checking out my MOMent. I hope and pray to have more MOMents like these. What is your precious MOMent?
