OMGosh…So if we are friends on Facebook, then I’m pretty sure you saw my rant (before I took it down). Well, I was SUPER upset this afternoon (I have since then calmed down). Many of you, who know me, know that I am NOT the most patient person when it comes to get something. So before I get to the point, please let me give you some back story.
A week ago, I bought some ink. I really wanted to get it from a store so I can walk out with it and use it the same day. But l decided to check online to see if I could find it cheaper. And I did. I found my ink (LexMark 100XL: 5pk) at samsclub.com. It was for $44.28 (give or take a few pennies). It came with 2 XL black cartilages and 1 set of colors. What an amazing deal. I couldn’t pass up this opportunity.
But I wanted to see if the Sam’s Club that is down the street from me would give me the same deal on their ink (separate packages). Sadly, they wouldn’t! If I wanted to get it that day, I would have to pay a little over $90. So I was patient and went home to order online. I think it sucks that places won’t price match their own online prices, but I digress.
So I knew that the ink was going to get here the following week. I later learned that it would be here Thursday (today). So I was pretty anxious because I have so much to print. Well, I check the tracking number this morning and I discovered that the package was delivered to MILTON, NY. REALLY? So reading that sent me into a mini panic attack. I LIVE IN TENNESSEE!! What was I suppose to do? I needed the ink for my first event as an Independent Consultant Perfectly Posh. I had a pretty productive, easy going day until that happened.
So I called the online store and informed them what happen. I was really upset because I really needed it ASAP. Well after speaking with 3 different people, nothing was resolved (are you kidding me?). They would not send me (via email) a certificate stating that I can go into the store and get the ink that they sent to New York. They also would not send me my money back AND give me another ink cartilage. The only thing they were willing to do was to refund my money and classify the ink as “Lost in Shipping”. This would’ve been ok if I wasn’t needing the ink right away. I was furious. I reiterated my demand and the lady said that she would put in that request. What good was THAT going to do me?
Anywhoser, I was suppose to get a call from whomever. So while I was waiting I called my AMAZING Mother in Love. She’s pretty good about getting me out of my binds!! LOL Well, this time she was short on ink as well. I could’ve screamed! So I was really panicking! My grandmother in love might have had ink, but hadn’t used the printer in YEARS. So I was certain that the ink dried up. But you get the point, I was out of options.
Well I called the center back because they were taking too long to call me. Well once again they were no help. What was I going to do? I cried a bit (yes I did…don’t judge me lol). I didn’t get anything done in the time frame I was suppose to. I was a mess majority of the day!
Well around 5:00pm I get a knock at my door. I opened it and saw a package. I was shocked because I wasn’t expecting anything at that point. Well, I look at the name and it said, “Sam’s Club”. REALLY? Could it be?! YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME?! Yes! It was my ink.
Wait, wasn’t it shipped to New York? I thought it was too! Apparently, they put the wrong tracking number on my order. So when I figured that out, all I could do at that point was laugh. But I wasted all that emotion on this issue. But now ALL IS WELL, and I’m happy again! I called the center to let them know that I got my ink and they could cancel the request.
So happy for my ink!!
