Ok, so I have slacked off a bit on my blog writing. I’ve gotten so consumed in my cupcake business and spending time with my son, that I’ve completely neglected my personal blog. So let me take the time to give you all a brief update on what’s going on.
Of course you all know, I started my own cupcake business and it is slowly growing. I’m happy to have the orders that I have and appreciative of the customers who’ve placed them. I am having so much fun on this journey; I can’t wait to see where God will lead me. I know the path will be rough and will have some windy turns, however, I have my faith in God that He will take the reigns of this company and make it flourish.
Now, let’s talk about my baby…oh my baby….This dude is super fast and super smart. I can’t leave him a long for a minute. He’s so silly though. No matter what mood I’m feeling, he can always make me smile. I love that he’s starting to recognize me as “mama”. He’s only 13 months and a couple of weeks old. It’s amazing to me to see how much he’s grown in the past couple of months. I must say my heart is a bit heavy because he won’t let me cuddle with him anymore. This is really sad to me but I know that it is a good thing because he sleeps well on his own. This is a blessing for hubby and I because I know so many parents who struggle with getting their child to sleep in their own beds.
Hubby and I have had a lot of time to spend together as a couple and as a family (with baby) now that I’m not working anymore (out of the home). I must say I love being a Stay at home mom again! I feel like I can get more done. I know I need to do more of the home things like cook and clean. But I’m truly happy that I have a loving and patient hubby. While he’s patient, I have to develop a routine/pattern so I can get/keep my house in order. After over two years of marriage and a year of parenthood, I’m still learning how to handle everything better and make my family’s life easier and less stressful.
But overall, life is good and I’m thankful to God for all I have and for everyone that is in my life! May God bless you and keep you!!
Look out for my post about potty training for baby…It’ll be post the first day we seriously introduce baby to the potty. I will also post an update about my progress with my life.
