So for many of us, parenting is an exciting challenge that is welcomed and cherished. However, we sometimes don’t have a clue as to what to feed our precious little babies. My precious little boy is 9 months and at times it feels like I’m giving him the same thing over and over (which I know he doesn’t mind); but I would like for him to have a variety of foods each day. Just to give you an idea of how much my baby will eat I’ve decided to post some pics for you to see.
For breakfast, he’ll have a nice size bowl of oatmeal with bananas and a half full sippy cup of milk (formula of course). Whatever he doesn’t eat will be given to him the next day (the box says to throw excess food away, but I keep it. I will not let good food go to waste.
For his breakfast snack, he’ll have a snack cup filled with Cheerios (his favorite snack). Although most of the Cheerios will “find” their way on the floor or in his car seat, it’s a great healthy snack for him!
For his lunch, he’ll have a bowl full of yogurt with avocado, strawberry, apples, and blueberries along with a sippy cup of milk! He loves his yogurt!!
For his afternoon snack he’ll have bananas, strawberries, and bananas with some water to wash it down. He loves fruit; the sweeter the better!!
For dinner, he’ll have turkey (low sodium), grapes, strawberries, cheese, and a tall sippy cup of milk. His last “meal” will be a full sippy cup of milk!
I hope this helps give you an idea of what and how much to feed your little! Of course EVERY BABY IS DIFFERENT. So be sure to never force your child to finish a meal. They will eat until they are full!!
